The Tanzanian Government requires citizens of most countries to obtain a valid visa to enter the country. The Consulate General determines the duration of stay upon receiving an application.

1. Tourist Visa
   Your Tanzania tourist visa allows you to visit Tanzania for up to 3 months or 6 months (depending on your application), with single- and multiple-entry options available. Additionally, the Tanzania tourist visa does not allow the visa holder to engage in any kind of Tanzanian employment during their stay.
2. Business Visa
   Your Tanzania business visa lets you visit Tanzania for up to 3 months or 6 months (depending on your application), with single- and multiple-entry options available. The Tanzania business visa grants holders the right to attend meetings, conferences, and other business-related activities.  However, the holder may not seek employment in any capacity during their time in Tanzania.
