Brazil Visa Waivers

Brazil applies reciprocity and has visa waiver agreements with certain countries.
Being a citizen of or born in one of the countries with visa waiver agreements is not sufficient for the visa waiver.

For the visa waivers listed below to be in effect, must be traveling with a passport issued by the country Brazil has a visa waiver agreement.

The time spent in Brazil with a visa waiver is cumulative regardless of the purpose of the visit. Example: If you go to Brazil for 8 days in April 2014 for business meetings and return for 10 days in August for summer vacations, it will count as having used 18 days of the visa waiver.

There are special agreements for diplomatic and official passport holders. For more information, please consult the visa chart.
